Philosophy

Cathay Education was established in Toronto in 2011 with the aim of combining the educational and cultural advantages of both the Chinese and Western worlds to develop excellent learning abilities and habits in students, and cultivate outstanding qualities and resilient characters in children.

Cathay Education has two major service projects, summer camps and Ontario synchronous classrooms, both of which adhere to the principle of student-centered education and promote the all-round development of students’ comprehensive quality. All courses are designed to fully stimulate students’ interest in learning, turning the classroom into a playground for students to develop intelligence and abilities, and to ensure that students learn happily and develop healthily. Cathay Education trains talents rather than producing unchanging products, and schools and teachers must give each student the right to develop, recognize differences, respect individuality, and enable every child to achieve success. Teachers should enable students to learn how to think, live, survive, and be human, and constantly enrich and improve themselves through practice.

Education must consider the children’s lifelong development and teach them the ability to learn, rather than just focusing on their current needs, because knowledge is updated rapidly. Lifelong education aims to provide students with the methods and abilities to learn and apply knowledge for their future development, and cultivate a spirit of continuous learning and progress. We must enable students’ intelligence to develop rapidly through learning and activities, and lay a solid foundation for their sustainable development in the future.

Cathay Education has always sincerely cared about every step of the children’s growth and accompanied them wholeheartedly in every progress!
